London, 20th April 2016: Today, Comtact (parent company to Comtact Healthcare) – one of the UK's fastest-growing cyber security and infrastructure managed services providers, has announced it has made it on to The Leap 100 2016 – a list of the 100 most exciting, fast-growth companies in the UK, launched by Mishcon de Reya and City AM. All the companies selected have demonstrated substantial growth over the past 12 months and been identified as the 'ones to watch' for 2016.
Comtact, recognised as one of the UK's fastest growing IT service companies, has continued to set the standard for managed service provision. Not only by investing in its people but also the company's state-of-the-art 24x7x365 Network Operations Centre (NOC).
2015 saw the facility being significantly developed and expanded into a SOC – Security Operations Centre – helping organisations fight the exponential cybercrime wave, with the recruitment of some of Europe's leading Cyber security experts, combined with a highly integrated suite of Gartner leading solutions delivered as a managed service.
Dominic List the founder and chairman of Comtact has also been acknowledged in this year's list.
Dominic said: "It's great that Comtact has been selected as part of The Leap 100 for 2016 – in Comtact's 10th anniversary year. This year we broadened our proposition to help our customers protect against the real threat of cyber-attack or ransomware. With 80% of companies unaware they have already been breached, we added our managed cyber security solution to the portfolio to help our customers take back control. Alongside our complimentary infrastructure management solution, Aurora365, we're ensuring dependable, secure IT and eliminating downtime. We've also seen increased adoption of our intelligent Wi-Fi tracking solutions, especially in the healthcare sector. We look forward to joining other The Leap 100 companies in building on this success over the coming year."
The Leap 100 companies, which range in terms of scale and sector, were chosen because of their growth potential and ability to make the leap to the next level in terms of revenue. Click here for the full list.
The most important publication targeting the London business community, City AM, and one of London's leading law firms, Mishcon de Reya, teamed up with The Supper Club, The Entrepreneurs Network and Seven Hills to compile the list, which is neither ranked nor exhaustive.
Nick Davis, Head of Corporate at Mishcon de Reya, said: "This stage of a company's growth can be very dramatic, with risks of serious setbacks and sudden lows, but with high rewards for those who make it to the other side. The Leap 100 campaign examines and celebrates the hurdles and opportunities that fast growing companies face. We launched The Leap 100 in 2015 to support a select group of some of the UK's most exciting, high growth companies. This year's list is yet again a dynamic group of companies to watch."
Christian May, Editor of City AM, said of the list: "The UK has a thriving SME community making up 99.9% of the private sector. However, for the majority of companies, the key problem continues to focus on how companies scale in order to grow to their full potential. The purpose of this list is to showcase the UK companies succeeding in doing this, as well as identifying those that we as a nation need to be aware of – they are a triumph."
